Solution

Alliance provided an Aquamaster CB-1200E conveyorized dipping system for applying oil for long-term rust protection. Machined powdered metal parts are placed directly on the flat wire conveyor belt.  In the center of the machine, the conveyor belt dips into a shallow catch pan, allowing the underside of the parts to be coated with oil.  As the parts pass the dip area, rust inhibiting solution is pumped to a perforated oil flood box above the conveyor where oil is dispensed onto parts as they pass underneath. Oil is then captured, filtered, and recirculated for continued use. Parts pass under a blowoff module to remove excess oil. An explosion-proof motor and wiring were included for safety. The electrical panel was designed for remote mounting at a minimum of 10 feet from machine. Lift-off removal panels on top of the machine allow quick access for viewing and maintenance. The exit area of the conveyor included a gravity roller, which can be mated with a parts accumulation table or mating escapement conveyor. Casters were added to the base for mobility.
